Fall 2026 End of Season Letter to Club Families

As another rec season comes to a close, we wanted to take a moment to say thank you.

This fall was full of what we love about soccer: fun, friendships, growth, competition, and plenty of moments that reminded us why we do this. Our players continued to learn, develop, and, most importantly, enjoy the game. They also showed plenty of resilience—especially when the rain seemed determined to become a permanent part of the schedule.

Between weather, field conditions, and the inevitable scheduling challenges that come with running a club of our size, this season wasn't always easy behind the scenes. But our coaches, board volunteers, players, and families continued to show up and make it work. That doesn't happen without a lot of people caring deeply about this club.

Soccer is growing in the United States like never before, and we are incredibly honored that Circle City FC is your home club for introducing your kids to the game, helping them grow as players and teammates, and hopefully building a love of soccer that stays with them for years to come.

CCFC has grown a lot recently and we are currently the largest volunteer-run youth soccer club in Indiana! We are continuing to grow and there is something we need to be very honest about...

We need more volunteers.

Our club is entirely volunteer-run, and we are reaching a point where there is simply more work to do than there are people to do it. The board members who are currently serving are wearing a lot of hats, and while we're proud of everything we've been able to accomplish, we can't continue to grow the club without more people stepping forward.

And you don't have to be a soccer expert.

Maybe you're comfortable behind a computer. Maybe you're good with finances, communications, organization or planning. Maybe you like working with people. Maybe you're the person who actually enjoys figuring out why something isn't working and fixing it. Or maybe you're more comfortable with some tools in your hand than a spreadsheet on your screen.

There is something at CCFC we could use your help with. If you've ever thought about getting more involved, we'd love for you to come see what it's all about.

Our next board meeting is Sunday, October 11 at 6:00 p.m. at the Franklin Township Civic League.

Come join us, ask questions, listen in and learn more about what serving on the board could look like. There is no obligation to walk in the door and sign up for anything. We simply want more of our families to see how the club works and understand the many ways they can help.

The future of CCFC is being built by volunteers who care about this club and the kids who call it home. We'd love to have you be a part of it. Thank you for another incredible season.
