parents & Spectator code of conduct

1. Parents / guardians are expected to communicate the Player Code of Conduct expectations to their child / children and support their compliance.

2. Verbal or physical abuse of players, game officials, coaches, board members, and other spectators is prohibited under any circumstances. This includes profane language. Any incident seen or heard should be told to a CCFC Board Member. Call or text the CCFC at 317-771-4066 immediately to notice a CCFC Board Member.

3. Family and spectators should not coach or criticize any player from the sidelines, including their own child / children.

4. Do not talk to players, coaches or referees during matches except to offer support or congratulations.

5. Family and spectators must stay on their designated sideline, directly across from the player benches. Family and spectators are not permitted to sit anywhere else on the field. They are not allowed to enter the field of play or go to the benches unless asked by the head coach.

6. We are beholden to the rules of Franklin Township School Corporation. No weapons or unauthorized vehicles, such as personal golf carts, are permitted on CCFC grounds. No alcohol, smoking, vaping, illegal drugs, noisemakers, or animals are permitted on CCFC grounds, with the exception of marked service dogs on a leash.

7. Parents will not knowingly participate in or knowingly permit violation or circumvention of CCFC, Indiana Soccer League (ISL), or US Youth Soccer Association (USYSA) rules.

8. Fighting or physical violence will result in automatic suspension from CCFC premises and activities. Repeat violations will result in expulsion from CCFC. Ejection of an adult for inappropriate behavior will include a written warning and review of CCFC’s Code of Conduct. A second ejection incident will result in expulsion from CCFC premises and activities. Any incident involving a CCFC parent or guest who is ejected from a soccer match must have that incident documented by the head coach within 48 hours of the incident. The documentation should be submitted to the CCFC President for Executive Board review and action. The CCFC Executive Board will review the status of any adult ejected from a game.

9. If you have an issue with a member of the CCFC coaching staff, please give a 48-hour cooling-off period before contacting the individual involved.

10. Coaches have primary responsibility for addressing violations by players. The Recreation Directors have the primary responsibility for addressing violations by coaches. Head coaches are primarily responsible for addressing violations by parents and guests in consultation with the CCFC Board member responsible for the age group (age group coordinator). The Executive Board will address severe or repeated violations.

11. Sanctions that may be imposed include but are not limited to reprimand, suspension from team or CCFC activities and facilities, and in extreme cases, expulsion from CCFC. Anyone expelled from the club for any reason will not be eligible for a refund and will still be responsible for unpaid fees. The Executive Board will report violations to IS and USYSA when appropriate. CCFC will support and impose all sanctions recommended or imposed by ISL or USYSA.

12. CCFC reserves the right to adapt the stated Code of Conduct in compliance with the US Youth Soccer Code of Conduct.
