Recreational Referees
To referee recreational games, you must be 12-years-old or older. If you wish to be a CCFC rec referee, complete the below referee profile. Once completed, you will be included in all rec referee updates and schedule information. Certification not required for U6-U10 rec level games.
If you are currently certified and would also like to ref CCFC travel games, contact CCFC's assignor, Brandi Young at assignor@circlecityfc.com.
Becoming a Rec Referee

Forms Submission: Availability forms must be submitted by 6 PM on the Monday before a game weekend. Forms for the current season are linked below. If there are two game days in the same weekend, both availability forms will be due that Monday by 6 PM.
Scheduling Process: Assignments are tracked to ensure fair distribution of games throughout the season.
Game Assignments: While no one is guaranteed more than one game per day, it does happen frequently.
Single Sign-Up: Please sign up only once per game day. Submitting multiple forms for the same or different time slots will not increase your chances of being assigned to multiple games.
Overflow Sign-Ups: If too many referees sign up for a game day and you are not scheduled, every effort will be made to assign you an additional game on another day.
Flexibility: Your willingness to cover games outside of your preference is greatly appreciated. Sometimes, we may need referees for matches they are capable of officiating but may not prefer.
Multiple Game Payment: If you referee multiple games in one day, wait until all games are completed before collecting payment.
Understanding the Rules: Ensure you are familiar with the recreational soccer rules used at CCFC. Review the rules for your assigned age division before arriving at your match.
Schedule Changes:
You can edit your response after submitting the form. A confirmation email will be sent to you—be sure to save it in case you need to make changes. Edits will no longer be possible once the form closes on Monday.
If your availability changes after Monday by 6 PM, email referee@circlecityfc.com ASAP.
If your availability changes after the schedule is posted, try to find a substitute and email referee@circlecityfc.com with your replacement. If you cannot find a sub, notify us ASAP.
Schedule Posting: The goal is to post the schedule here and email it to the referee group by Wednesday evening before that weekend’s games. However, delays may occur if sign-ups are low.
