The Form 11 TRAINING PHILOSOPHY

At Form 11, we believe technical confidence creates better players. Every activity throughout camp is designed to help players become more comfortable and confident with the ball while improving decision-making under pressure.

Our training focuses on:

✅ Ball Mastery

✅ First Touch

✅ Passing & Receiving

✅ Dribbling & 1v1 Moves

✅ Finishing

✅ Scanning & Awareness

✅ Possession Play

✅ Small-Sided Games

✅ Confidence Under Pressure

We create an environment where players are encouraged to try new things, make mistakes, learn, and improve. At Form 11, we believe development goes beyond technical ability.

Throughout camp, players will also be challenged to:

  • Communicate

  • Compete

  • Stay disciplined

  • Lead teammates

  • Respond positively to adversity

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Are players grouped by age?

Yes. Players will be divided into the following groups:

  • 7–10

  • 11–14

  • 15+

Groups may also be adjusted when necessary based on skill level and camp attendance to maintain the best training environment possible.

Can players from any club attend?

Absolutely. This camp is open to players from all clubs and all experience levels.

Whether your player is currently in recreational soccer, travel soccer, school soccer, or not currently playing for a club at all — they are highly encouraged to attend.

In many cases, players who are looking for additional technical work outside of their normal environment often see some of the biggest improvements. Our goal is to create a welcoming but challenging environment where every player can continue developing regardless of their current level.

Can goalkeepers attend?

Yes. Goalkeepers are strongly encouraged to attend.

A goalkeeper-specific coach will be present throughout the entire camp to provide dedicated goalkeeper instruction during training sessions while also integrating goalkeepers into game situations and match play environments.

Goalkeeper training will focus on:

  • Handling

  • Footwork

  • Positioning

  • Distribution

  • Shot stopping

  • Decision-making under pressure

Can parents stay and watch?

Yes. Parents are welcome to stay and observe camp sessions if they would like. A designated viewing area will be available throughout camp.

However, we do ask parents to allow coaches to lead the learning environment during sessions. Through years of coaching experience, we have consistently seen players improve more when they are allowed to problem-solve, communicate, and learn directly through the coaching process with less outside interaction during training.

Our goal is to create an environment where players can fully focus, build independence, and gain confidence throughout the camp experience.

What happens if there is bad weather?

Weather updates and communication will be provided to all registered families as quickly as possible.

If weather significantly impacts camp sessions, we will evaluate the possibility of scheduling a make-up day the following weekend.
