Gameday Guide: Fall 2026 Rec Season

Know Before You Go to Adams!

game #2 & 3 - August 22 & 23

serious question: can you play soccer in an ark?

Let's all take a deep breath, and say it out loud ... ENOUGH WITH THE RAIN ALREADY!!!

We've seen historic amounts of rain over the last week for our area and some parts of our community experienced devastating flooding. Our fields at Adams were not spared. They could only hold so much of that rain as it was a struggle to get fields painted, hoping for enough sun to dry things up, to open some fields for practices this week, then to only receive more rain early Thursday morning. We know it has been a challenge and frustrating for many teams that have only practiced once. We can't control the weather, and player safety and preserving field conditions is our top priority.

We are HOPEFUL that games will go on this weekend (That's right, we're playing Saturday and Sunday). We appreciate everyone understanding that this was a historic week of weather for our board, and we have worked extremely hard over the last week. From coming early last weekend to check field conditions, to constantly monitoring field conditions, to even aerating this week to try and help certain fields dry up quicker, we want to play soccer as much as you all too. So for that, we thank you for understanding.

If games are played, due to the soft ground we will not be running golf carts this weekend. We know many families depend of these carts to get to the fields, and we apologize for the inconvenience. But we simply cannot run golf cart rides and wreck the grass as wet as it has been.

As we step into this exciting season, let’s embrace the joyful moments and celebrate the achievements – both big and small. Here's to remembering this is a game, these are kids, and we're all here to have fun. Please remember to review our Player and Parents/Spectators Code of Conducts (links below) and have kids review your age division rules so there are no surprises from the referees during the games. Here’s to a fantastic weekend filled with teamwork, laughter, and lots of cheering. Let’s make this redo of an "opening weekend" one to remember!

We'll have Travelin' Toms Coffee come back out to the fields Saturday morning, and Heartland Homemade Ice Cream will be scooping out treats on Sunday! A percentage of all sales will come back to the club, so drink and eat up!

Please bookmark this page as we will update it before each rec gameday with the latest new and information to have you ready for a fantastic day at our fields!

uniforms update

Players that were late in their registration or switching teams, as well as volunteers that stepped up to coach this season (thank you!!), may not have received their uniforms yet. The process of ordering, making, and shipping these jerseys can take about 2-3 weeks before we receive them. We do have a number of player and coach jerseys that can be picked up from a board member at the referee shed. Some are in the process of shipping and will be available Sunday before the game. Individuals should have received information about the uniform being ready, but if not please stop by to see if it is available or for any further updates. If there are any uniform issues, families can stop by the referee shed and speak with a board member. We'll check if we have what you need or if we can provide a substitute.

quick Kicks & Need-To-Knows

New Field Map This season

The field map is going to look a little different this fall. We've rotated the fields around at Adams from years past. This was done in an effort to help goalie boxes recover and give patches a chance to fully grow in from overseeding and field repair efforts the board and volunteers performed over the summer. Little Stars will remain along the gravel road close to the parking lot.

  • Field 3 - U4

  • Fields 4-6 - U6

  • Field 7 & 8 - U8

  • Field 9 & 10 - U10

  • Field 11 - U12

  • Field 12 - U14-U19

Know in advance where you are heading for practice Saturday and for games this fall!

game day parking rules

We truly appreciate everyone following the parking designations last weekend! With over 800 kids playing rec soccer this fall season, parking at Adams Elementary is going to be a challenge to fit all families throughout the day. As a reminder, please follow the recommended parking assignments below.

The green area is for families in Little Stars, U4, U6, U8 & U10. The orange area behind the school to the right when you pull is will be for our U12-U19 families. We will continue to have designated handicap parking near the entrance. Yard signs will be placed in the Adams lot as you enter to remind you where to park.

This is all in an effort to make sure all families can attend the games they are there to see. We know this is a change, and we understand this may cause some frustrations. Ultimately, this is what we believe is needed to keep the traffic flow smooth throughout the day.

Please do not park in the neighborhood south of Adams and walk between houses to get to our fields. We truly appreciate your understanding and cooperation this season.

give back to our club and volunteer

As a completely volunteer-run organization, we count on the support of our club families to help step up and make our gamedays a success. We are always looking for folks to drive our golf carts and give rides to those needing assistance to the fields.

If you would like to help us in any way possible, we'd love to hear from you! Fill out a quick volunteer request form and we'll connect you with our volunteer coordinator to find a spot that fits your strengths and time commitment. Even an hour of time on a gameday goes a long way to support our board, the families we serve, and our club.

We need more referees!

As our season kicks off, we are in need of more referees for our rec games. And yes, we pay our referees! To referee rec soccer games at CCFC, you must be 14-years-old or older. But adults can referee too!

The process to becoming a referee is simple and quick. Create a referee profile with us, and then you'll be connected with our referee assignor Brandi Young. You can learn more about becoming a referee with us by clicking the link below.

Form 11 Soccer Working for ccfc Rec Players

Shoutout to Form 11 Soccer, our official player development training partner, for continuing to support our club. We've heard many stories of our rec and travel players taking advantage of their Monday and Friday training sessions here on this side of town.

If you'd like to learn more about Form 11 and their training programs, visit their website here. And remember to take 10% off your training sessions when you mention you play at CCFC!
