Gameday Guide: Spring 2026 Rec Season

Know Before You Go to Adams!
Gamedays #4 - April 25
Picture Day is Saturday!
Well, we made it through one rough weekend of weather out on our fields. Hopefully we don't have to endue that again this season! 🥶
Make sure those kits are washed and faces cleaned this weekend because Saturday is Team Picture Day! Please check the photo calendar listed on the Rec Schedules page to appear in time for team photos. You'll want to arrive about 10 minutes prior to your scheduled time. Visit King Shots Photography ordering page here, select your team and the correct age division, and then choose the photo package you want! You'll need to complete separate orders for multiple children. If you have any specific questions, reach out directly to sales@kingshots.com -- thanks!
As a reminder, kids must wear soccer cleats; not just any cleats. But only soccer cleats. Last weekend we had to cut the toe spikes off a few pairs of cleats. Our referees check in players before each match and if they spot cleats that are not for soccer the child cannot play. If the boots have cleats under the tip toe specifically, those are not soccer cleats and should not be worn.
In addition, all spectators must remain on the designated spectator side of the field and should not cross to the team bench area during matches. This policy is in place first and foremost for player safety, as the sideline and bench areas are reserved strictly for rostered players and approved coaches who have completed required background checks, and allowing individuals who have not gone through this process onto the player sideline creates a risk we cannot take. Signage is posted at each field clearly marking where only players and coaches are permitted, and these boundaries must be respected at all times. We understand that some of our younger players may need extra encouragement or reassurance during games, but all support and communication must come from the spectator side, as coaches are prepared to guide and support players while maintaining a consistent, distraction-free sideline. These expectations are not optional and will continue to be enforced throughout the remainder of the season, and we appreciate your cooperation in helping us prioritize the safety, structure, and overall experience for every player on the field.
We also welcome individuals to ride bikes or electric bicycles to our fields. However moving forward, once you arrive at our fields you must get off and push your bike. We take the safety of our spectators and players very seriously, and to avoid the risk of injury we are requiring any bicycle be pushed and walked now going forward. They can be parked/stored off to the sides away from pathways or near the playing fields. We appreciate your cooperation.
Please bookmark this page as we will update it before each rec gameday with the latest new and information to have you ready for a fantastic day at our fields!
New game day parking rules
We truly appreciate everyone following the parking designations last weekend! With over 900 kids playing rec soccer this spring season, parking at Adams Elementary is going to be a challenge to fit all families throughout the day. As a reminder, please follow the recommended parking assignments below.
The green area is for families in Little Stars, U4, U6, U8 & U10. The orange area behind the school to the right when you pull is will be for our U12-U19 families. We will continue to have designated handicap parking near the entrance. Yard signs will be placed in the Adams lot as you enter to remind you where to park.
This is all in an effort to make sure all families can attend the games they are there to see. We know this is a change, and we understand this may cause some frustrations. Ultimately, this is what we believe is needed to keep the traffic flow smooth throughout the day.
We truly appreciate your understanding and cooperation this spring season.

Golf Cart Ride & Volunteer Drivers
Our board is proud to offer golf cart rides to assist those who may need help getting to and from the fields. You can call for a ride at 317-771-4066.
However, please note that our top priority is maintaining a safe environment across all game areas. If we are short on board members, our attention must remain on field operations, and golf cart service may be temporarily paused. Shoutout to club member Patty for volunteering and driving our golf cart for a few hours last weekend!
We are actively looking for volunteers to help drive golf carts this season. In order to volunteer to drive our golf carts, you must be at least 18 and hold a valid drivers license. We have created some time slots (morning, midday, and afternoon) where you are able to enter what time you are able to volunteer.
If you’re interested in driving for us, please sign up here.

Form 11 Soccer Working for ccfc Rec Players
Check out this testimonial from current CCFC rec parent Chad Grosz who has their U10 son Colton currently training at Form 11 Soccer:
"Watching my son, Colton, develop through technical soccer training has been incredible. While Colton is new to Circle City FC, he’s been playing rec soccer since the age of three, so we’ve had the privilege of watching his skills grow over the years. That said, we’ve seen the biggest leap in his development since he started attending Form 11 roughly a year ago. His ball control, footwork, and overall confidence have improved dramatically in such a short time.
What stands out most since adding Form 11 to his routine is his willingness to learn—he shows up focused, listens closely to coaching, and consistently puts in the effort to apply new skills during every session. Whether he’s working on dribbling drills or passing under pressure, his growth is clear and consistent.
Beyond the technical improvements, his love for the game has really taken off as well. He’s more confident on the field, communicates better with teammates, and isn’t afraid to try new moves during games. The Form 11 training has not only sharpened his skills but has also built discipline, teamwork, and a strong work ethic.
Coach Kevin at Form 11 has been incredible—he truly invests in the players by bringing in professional soccer trainers and coaches who challenge and inspire them. He’s helped instill a fire in Colton to keep improving his personal skills and overall gameplay.
If you have a player looking to expand his/her skill level, I strongly encourage you to try the free trial class. It’s been amazing to see how much Colton has leveled up, and I think other families will see the same kind of growth."
CCFC and Form 11 Soccer aim to strengthen player development pathways for both recreational and travel players, while continuing to grow the game of soccer throughout Franklin Township. CCFC families are encouraged to take advantage of the 10% off Form 11 Soccer training discount by visiting form11soccer.com and mentioning Circle City Futbol Club.
