Trophy Day is Here!

It's hard to believe the end of the season is here. Thank you to the volunteer coaches and parents for helping make this season so special. And a special shout out to our board members who keep this machine on the tracks and running!

It's our last weekend but we still have a lot of soccer left to be played. Saturday will be Trophy Day and our Canned Food Drive to benefit Servant's Heart of Indy. At the end of your game Saturday, coaches will guide their teams up the shelter for trophy presentations. This is the time for coaches to celebrate their teams, their improvements throughout the season, and for all the effort they put in all season long.

Sunday will be makeup games for our U4-U8 divisions from last weekend. Little Stars from last weekend will not be made up, but you are welcome to bring your teams out Sunday for for a few fun games. U10-U14 will roll right into the Postseason Rec Tournament presented by Kopetsky Auto Wash.

Little Stars specifically will have their first scrimmages on Saturday. Report to your assigned field. You will scrimmage the assigned team on the field.

• LS Cosmos vs. LS Barcelona - Field 1 - 10 a.m.

• LS Lions vs. LS Sounders - Field 2 - 10 a.m.

• LS Dynamo vs. LS Fire - Field 3 - 10 a.m.

• LS Rangers vs. LS Timbers - Field 1 - 11:30 a.m.

• LS Monarchs vs. LS Jaguars - Field 3 - 11:30 a.m.

Little Stars trophies will be set up on a table near the Little Stars fields. After completing your scrimmages, you may grab your team's trophies and distribute them. Have fun distributing, thank the parents, congratulate the players, and then hand out trophies while announcing each player individually, player names are on the trophies.

We can't seem to get away from rain this spring! Yes, we've seen the forecast and will be there early again tomorrow morning to check the fields. Heartland Homemade Ice Cream will be at the fields Saturday to celebrate with us on Trophy Day and Shaved Ice Unlimited will be selling on Sunday.

• We are beholden to the rules of Franklin Township Community School Corporation. No weapons or unauthorized vehicles, such as personal golf carts or e-bikes, are permitted on CCFC grounds. No alcohol, smoking, vaping, illegal drugs, noisemakers, or animals are permitted on CCFC grounds, with the exception of marked service dogs on a leash.

Canned Food Drive is tomorrow

Let's fight hunger in our community!

On Trophy Day of every season, we partner with Servant's Heart of Indy to host a canned food drive. Next Saturday, we will be counting donated cans by teams. The team that donates the most cans next Saturday will receive a $100 gift card for a team pizza party thanks to Chicago's Pizza on Arlington Ave. For any family that donates 15 cans or more they'll receive a free order of breadsticks (while supplies last).

Start collecting canned goods, and make sure they have not expired! Servant's Heart will not accept those and they will not count towards team totals.

Rec Tournament Brackets are out

It's time again for our end of season U10-U14 Rec Tournament Presented by Kopetsky Auto Wash! The random draw took place last weekend and the brackets are live! You can view all the brackets here.

Emotions get higher for the players on the pitch and the parents and spectators on the sidelines. Unfortuntately also our young referees feel the brunt of these emotions. It is exciting to be playing for a trophy and to say you're a champion. It is important we all remember to continue to cheer loud but respectfully. We will have board members acting as field marshals at every single tournament match. They will be watching the sidelines to ensure all codes of conduct are being upheld.

Travel tryouts announced!

The CCFC travel soccer programs are designed for young athletes who are ready to take their game beyond recreational play. We provide a structured, competitive environment where players are challenged to grow in skill, confidence, and teamwork.

Our programs focus on age-appropriate technical training, tactical understanding, and a passion for the game that lasts a lifetime.

Registration is open for tryouts and it's FREE. You must sign up to tryout. Day of walk-ups will need to register in person before heading to the fields. We encourage everyone interested to come tryout and see for yourself. REGISTER HERE!

We're also looking for coaches to join our travel program. If you have passion, purpose, and a love for the game, we want to hear from you! If you have questions, email our travel director ben.beatty@circlecityfc.com!

New game day parking rules

We truly appreciate everyone following the parking designations last weekend! With over 900 kids playing rec soccer this spring season, parking at Adams Elementary is going to be a challenge to fit all families throughout the day. As a reminder, please follow the recommended parking assignments below.

The green area is for families in Little Stars, U4, U6, U8 & U10. The orange area behind the school to the right when you pull is will be for our U12-U19 families. We will continue to have designated handicap parking near the entrance. Yard signs will be placed in the Adams lot as you enter to remind you where to park.

This is all in an effort to make sure all families can attend the games they are there to see. We know this is a change, and we understand this may cause some frustrations. Ultimately, this is what we believe is needed to keep the traffic flow smooth throughout the day.

We truly appreciate your understanding and cooperation this spring season.
