Here is one of our newest members to the board, Pete Shaunki.

q: What is your current board position and role at circle city fc?

I'm new to the board!

q: When did you join the ccfc board?

February 2026

q: What inspired you to get involved with the club?

I spend so much time at the soccer fields already I wanted to play a bigger part and help.

q: What's the most rewarding part of serving on the board?

I’m new but so far helping the group make the club go.

q: What's one thing families might be surprised to learn about running a youth soccer club?

All the background work this is involved with making game day happen.

q: Why do you believe community involvement and volunteer leadership matter in youth sports?

It gives kids a place to learn and grow.

q: What would you say to someone considering getting involved with the club?

Come join and just help for a few hours. There’s lots of things that go into running the club.

q: What is your favorite soccer memory?

Watching all the kids improve in such a short time each season.

q: What soccer club (other than ccfc) do you support?
